Polycarboxylate Base Grinding Aid – Aqueous Solution

Description

AD-TEK GA-1 is a new generation cement grinding aid especially designed to increase mill output and obtain improved early and ultimate strength development in finished cement.

AD-TEK GA-1 decreases the interactive attraction between cement grains and increases the rate of hydration of cements. In comparison with conventional grinding aids, AD-TEK GA-1 offers unit power savings of up to 30% with no loss of strength.

Application

GA-1 may be sprayed into the mill’s first compartment or added directly to the clinker conveyor belt. Dilution with 3-5 parts of water is recommended to ensure greater proportion accuracy and distribution of GA-1.

Dosage

The dose rate is dependant on the final fineness required and the re-agglomeration characteristics of the cement. Dosage rates are typically 0.02% to 0.06% by weight. Optimum dosage rates can only be determined during full-scale mill tests.

Mode of Delivery

GA-1 is delivered in bulk or in 1000-litre containers.

Storage, Environment & Shelf Life

GA-1 may be stored in steel or plastic containers at a temperature between 5°C and 40°C. Protect from direct sunlight and contaminants. The product is stable for several years. It is non-toxic and harmless.
