Description
AD-TEK HWR-3 is a third generation composite superplasticizer (hyperplasticizer) for high quality concrete, when superior performance is required.
AD-TEK HWR-3 can dramatically reduce mixing water, promoting high early and ultimate strengths of concrete.
AD-TEK HWR-3 provides relatively long slump life with normal settings times.
AD-TEK HWR-3 is in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1478.1 – 2000 as a High Range Water Reducing Admixture.

Dosage
The recommended dose rate is between 300 – 600 ml per 100 kg of cement binder.
For self compacting concrete, the typical dosage is 700ml -1000ml per 100 kg of cement binder.
Site trials are recommended to determine the actual dosage rate.
Application
The maximum plasticizing effect or water reduction is obtained if AD-TEK HWR-3 is added into concrete after cement is wetted out. Thorough mixing is required for complete dispersion throughout the mix.
Packaging, Shelf Life and Storage
AD-TEK HWR-3 is available in 20-litre containers, 1000-litre cubes and in bulk.
AD-TEK HWR-3 should be stored at a temperature between 5ºC and 40ºC.
In an unopened original container, it has a shelf life of one year.
