AD-TEK HWRRe

High Range Water-Reducing and Set-Retarding Admixture – Aqueous Solution

Description

AD-TEK HWRRe is a third-generation composite superplasticizer (hyperplasticizer) for high quality concrete and mortar, when superior performance is required.

AD-TEK HWRRe can significantly extend concrete mixes transportation time and workability, dramatically reduce mixing water, promoting excellent flow characteristics and high ultimate strengths of concrete.

AD-TEK HWRRe is in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1478.1 – 2000 as a High Range Water Reducing and Set Retarding Admixture.

Dosage

The recommended dose rate is between 300 – 1000 ml per 100 kg of cement binder.

For self compacting concrete, the typical dosage is 700ml -1800ml per 100 kg of cement binder. Site trials are recommended to determine the actual dosage rate.

Application

The maximum plasticizing effect or water reduction is obtained if AD-TEK HWRRe is added into concrete after cement is wetted out. Thorough mixing is required for complete dispersion throughout the mix.
