Description
AD-TEK PUMP is a composite admixture designed to improve the pumpability of concrete mixes.
AD-TEK PUMP prevents excessive wear of concrete pumps and increases output.
AD-TEK PUMP exceeds all requirements of AS 1478.1 – 2000 for Type SN admixtures.
Uses
AD-TEK PUMP is recommended for concrete mixes that are liable to segregation during pumping under increased pump pressure. It is especially useful for lean concrete mixes, mixes with a lack of fines, mixes utilising manufactured sands, and for long pumping distances.

Dosage
The recommended dose rate is between 200 – 1000 ml per 100 kg of cementitious content depending on specific mix design and requirements. A dose of 200-400 ml/100 kg is recommended to improve concrete cohesiveness and finishing procedures. A dose of up to 1000 ml/100 kg is recommended to reduce pump pressure and act as a replacement for lack of fines in a concrete mix. Site trials are recommended to determine the actual dosage rate.
Application
AD-TEK PUMP is typically added into concrete after the initial mix water or may be added on-site into the concrete mixer. When added on-site, the truck mixer shall rotate its drum for a minimum of 2 minutes to achieve a uniform mix.
Compatibility
AD-TEK PUMP is compatible with other AD-TEK admixtures used in the production of quality concrete.

AD-TEK PUMP is available in 20-litre containers, 1000-litre cubes and in bulk.

Storage and Shelf Life
AD-TEK PUMP can be stored for one year when stored in an unopened original container at between 5ºC and 40ºC.
