Description
AD-TEK PUMP is a composite admixture designed to improve the pumpability of concrete mixes.
AD-TEK PUMP prevents excessive wear of concrete pumps and increases output.
AD-TEK PUMP exceeds all requirements of AS 1478.1-2000 for Type SN admixtures.

Uses
AD-TEK PUMP is recommended for concrete mixes that are liable to segregation during pumping under increased pump pressure. It is especially useful for lean concrete mixes, mixes with a lack of fines, mixes utilising manufactured sands, and for long pumping distances.

Dosage
The recommended dose rate is between 200 to 1000 ml per 100 kg of cementitious content depending on specific mix design and requirements. A dose of 200-400 ml/100 kg is recommended to improve concrete cohesiveness and finishing procedures. A dose of up to 1000 ml/100 kg is recommended to reduce pump pressure and act as a replacement for lack of fines in a concrete mix. Site trials are recommended to determine the actual dosage rate.
Application
AD-TEK PUMP is typically added into concrete after the initial mix water or may be added on-site into the concrete mixer. When added on-site, the truck mixer shall rotate its drum for a minimum of 2 minutes to achieve a uniform mix.
Compatibility
AD-TEK PUMP is compatible with other AD-TEK admixtures used in the production of quality concrete.

AD-TEK PUMP is available in 20-litre containers, 1000-litre cubes and in bulk.

Storage and Shelf Life
AD-TEK PUMP can be stored for one year when stored in an unopened original container at between 5ºC and 40ºC.
