Water Reducing and Set Retarding Admixture – Aqueous Solution
Description
AD-TEK WRRe is a composite water reducing and set retarding admixture designed to produce concrete with improved water reduction and extended slump life.
AD-TEK WRRe retards the setting time of the mix to assist with easier placing and finishing of concrete.
AD-TEK WRRe combines the benefits of a normal water reducer and a mid-range water reducer allowing to achieve and maintain 80-130 mm slumps.
AD-TEK WRRe exceeds all requirements of Australian Standard AS1478.1 – 2000 as a Water Reducing and Set Retarding Admixture.
Uses
AD-TEK WRRe is used to produce normal to medium performance concrete, where greater water reduction, workability, and reduced bleeding are needed.
AD-TEK WRRe is recommended to be used as a water reducing admixture for hot summer time.

Dosage
The recommended dose rate is between 250 – 850 ml per 100 kg of cement binder depending on specific mix design requirements.
Preliminary laboratory or field trials should be conducted to determine the required dosage rates.
Application
The maximum plasticizing effect or water reduction is obtained if AD-TEK WRRe is added into concrete after the cement is wetted out.
Place and cure concrete according to proper concrete procedures.

Storage and Shelf Life
Can be stored for up to one year when stored in an unopened original container at between 5ºC and 40ºC.
