Ad-Tek is founded with the purpose of creating a range of construction chemicals that enable the maximum use of industrial by-products in ready-mixed concrete manufacturing. This should lead to significant reductions in the industries carbon footprint. Builders and developers (the end market), however, are highly incentivised to design and build in carbon neutral products and create carbon neutral construction. Ad-Tek’s research team, led by its Co-Founder and Chief Formulator Dr. Victor Vyrydov, is in the process of completing a range of construction chemicals that promote the use of industrial by-products in ready-mixed concrete.
The goal is to introduce a range of construction chemicals that enable maximum use of industrial by-products such as Fly-Ash, which have a high water demand in high quality ready-mixed concretes, that enable the ready-mixed concrete to meet design targets and placement expectations.
