Set Accelerating Admixture – Aqueous Solution
Description
AD-TEK Ac is a chloride free, non corrosive cement hydration accelerating admixture designed to provide faster set and increased early strength development of concrete and mortar. AD-TEK Ac may be used for cast-in-situ (premix) and precast concrete under cool winter conditions. AD-TEK Ac exceeds all requirements of Australian Standard AS1478.1 – 2000 for a Set Accelerating Admixture.

Application
AD-TEK Ac may be added to the concrete mix on the sand or in the water. For greatest effectiveness, it is recommended to add AD-TEK Ac at the end of the batch cycles. AD-TEK Ac should not come in contact with other AD-TEK admixtures prior to entering the concrete.
Dosage
The recommended dose rate is between 300 – 2000 ml per 100 kg of cement binder, depending on specific mix design and requirements.
Exact dosage rate should be determined by site trials.
Packaging
AD-TEK Ac is available in 20-litre containers, 1000-litre cubes and in bulk.
Health and Safety
AD-TEK Ac contains no hazardous substances requiring labelling. For further information refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet.
Storage and Shelf Life
One year when stored in an unopened original container at between 5°C and 40°C.
