Water Reducing and Set Accelerating Admixture – Aqueous Solution
Description
AD-TEK WRAc is a water reducing and non-chloride cement hydration accelerating admixture designed to provide water reduction and faster set acceleration with increased early strength development of concrete and mortar.
AD-TEK WRAc may be used as a water reducing admixture for the cast-in-situ (premix) and precast concrete under cool winter conditions.
AD-TEK WRAc exceeds all requirements of Australian Standard AS1478.1 – 2000 for a Water Reducing and Set Accelerating Admixture.
Uses
AD-TEK WRAc is recommended to be used as a water reducing admixture for winter time, accelerating the finishing and setting time of concrete.

Dosage
The recommended dose rate is between 300 – 1200 ml per 100 kg of cement binder depending on specific mix design and requirements.
Preliminary laboratory or field trials should be conducted to determine the required dosage rates.
Application
AD-TEK WRAc may be added to the concrete mix on the sand or in the water.
For greatest effectiveness, it is recommended to add AD-TEK WRAc at the end of the batch cycles.
AD-TEK WRAc should not come in contact with other AD-TEK admixtures prior to entering the concrete.
Place and cure concrete according to proper concrete procedures.

Storage and Shelf Life
Can be stored for up to one year when stored in an unopened original container at between 5ºC and 40ºC.
